In 2009, the SBL family launched an initiative to promote quality management and productivity improvement throughout the entire scope of the organization‘s operations. In this way, SBL was able to formalize the practices and procedures that had long been part of the SBL way.

SBL‘s quest for total quality management and continuous improvement is sustained by the principles and practices of the program. Communication, planning, and striving for excellence are fundamental at SBL, just as they are integral elements of continuous improvement

The quality process remains as relevant today as on the day it was introduced. It focuses on real issues, and involves the people that deal with those issues every day to resolve them.
